About this deal

If for some reason you do not have the accessory cables (USB, iPod 30 pin and Aux cable) then you cannot update the firmware. Benefits of the Update You can disconnect the battery earth terminal on the vehicle – only needs to be done for 30 secs or so. Some early versions of the MKi9000 will require an interim update to V1.96 to be performed first, so you will need this file and also V2.11 or V2.20. If your software version is V1.95 or less you MUST update to V1.96 first. From version 2.00 software the MKi series support “multipoint”– this allows the connection of 2 phones at the same time and is enabled in the Bluetooth settings. More detail is I am trying to add a Unika to my Mki9100. But I got a message on the display that display is not compatible. In settings I see parrot version 2.20, and display version 3.0. I understand for Unika requires parrot version 1.11 and display version 3.1. Is there any way to update the display version? Would recommend that you leave it to try to complete the update for a further 10 mins. After this period you can only try the following:

You may find that your new phone does not give you the option to enter the code as it’s default is 0000 and the Parrot requires 1234. Hey! I’ve got a problem with my parrot MKi9100 and my new phone (OnePlus 10 Pro 5G). The phone connects to the device correctly, but it doesn’t appear in the paired devices list and when I play a song with Spotify or any other app there is no sound coming out from the car speakers, even though the display shows that my phone is connected. I have no problems with my previous phone (OnePlus 7), the only connectivity difference between it and my current phone is that 10 PRO doesn’t support Bluetooth EDR like OP 7. Do you have any tips for me? Thank you so much Pentru a asculta muzica de pe iPhone® sau iPod®, conectati dispozitivul prin cablul la Parrot MKi. Accesati lista cu melodii folosind telecomanda wireless. Puteti efectua in continuare apeluri telefonice in modul hands-free in masina de pe telefonul mobil cu Bluetooth®. Cand primiti un apel, muzica se opreste automat. Reporneste la incheierea convorbirii telefonice. The Parrot MKi9100 car kit is a wireless device that features an OLED display for easy navigation and control. This car kit allows for hands-free calling and wireless music streaming in vehicles.

After you enter the update process it is vital that it is not interrupted – you MUST wait for the unit to re-boot itself. If the unit does not re-boot after a minimum of 5 minutes, something has gone wrong. Unfortunately, your choices at this stage are rather limited. Please note that the remote control MUST be able to be used with the MKi9100. If the remote does not work you will not be able to reset the MKi9100. All MKi remotes contain a CR2032 battery and it is common for people to forget to change them – they typically last a year to 18 months in normal use.

After re-boot select required language and press phone button to confirm. MKi9000 will then re-boot again Designed for a seamless integration into a wide range of vehicles, the Parrot MKi9100 offers a custom fit for different car models. It is constructed using high-quality materials to ensure reliability and long-lasting durability. Does the MKi9100 shut down correctly and show “Good Bye” on the screen ? If it doesn’t there is an installation issue which will cause memory errors.

Equipped with the latest connectivity technology, the Parrot MKi9100 enables users to connect their smartphones or other compatible devices wirelessly, eliminating the need for cumbersome cables. This provides a convenient and clutter-free experience while on the road.

MKi9000: As above, but navigate to Settings and Factory Reset. Press phone button to make it do it. The MKi automatically synchronize the names and phone numbers in your mobile with their phonebooks and update theirs phonebooks each time a new entry is detected. To access your phonebook and make a call, simply press the green button to start the user-independent voice recognition: the MKi recognize your voice and the name you are saying without any prior teaching process. You can also directly access the phonebook and browse all the names thanks to the voice synthesis (Text To Speech). So simple! When you receive a call, the name and the number are displayed on the screen. To follow on your conversation in a discrete mode, switch instantaneously the communication towards your Bluetooth headset or your mobile phone. On the MKi9000 press the centre button on the remote control and rotate to Settings menu. Enter the Settings menu and rotate to “Update Software”.The Parrot MKi9100 is also gifted for music. Supplied with a specific cable, it is compatible with all music sources, such as iPods, iPhones, USB flash drives, Bluetooth stereo (A2DP) phones, MP3 players and any other analogue players. For ideal music navigation, the screen of the MKi9100 displays the playlist along with the name of the artist and the title (iPod/iPhone connection or USB). Music is delivered through all the car’s speakers*, giving the driver and passengers exceptional sound quality and the breathtaking (Virtual SuperBass…). The Parrot wireless remote control is used to access the settings menu on the MKi9200. This means that you cannot reset the MMi9200 without the remote. The only exception to this is if you have the Unika steering wheel interface instead of the remote, in which case it is possible.

I have been using my MKi9100 for about a year, when it started having troubles. The pairing process passes, but during it a message “memory full” flashes on the screen. Have tried to reset to factory as it is described. Sometimes during the reset the system comes to a halt with a message “reseting to factory” or so. Left it on for an hour or so. Nothing happened. Switched of the ignition, reset again. Reboot, language change, home screen – everything is ok. Pairing process goes the same way – I can find mki9100 in my phone list as paired, and S10+ in parrot as paired. But during the pairing process the “memory full” flashes again. As I try to reconnect the phone – nothing is happening. Have tried different phones – no help. Software is no. 3 with some following numbers 🙂 Any suggestions? Have not tried to disconnect the car battery. I will do it now. The really early versions of MKi9100 firmware were quite buggy and the boot up time was very long. Also, updates were made as new phones were launched. After you enter the update process it is vital that it is not interrupted – you MUST wait for the unit to re-boot itself after the screen goes blank. If the unit does not re-boot after a minimum of 5 minutes, something has gone wrong. Unfortunately, your choices at this stage are rather limited. It is possible to perform a factory reset using the vehicle steering wheel buttons if the Parrot Unika interface is fitted. Hi I have a mki92100 kit. For some reason the display screen only shows half the output? The left hand side of the screen is blank. Is this an error of the screen or the control box. It is difficult to navigate as you cannot see a lot of the test. Plus I cannot factory reset as I cannot see this command. I have tried deleting the memory with no joy? I am thinking of getting a replacement screen but won’t if it will not help. Could 1/2 of the screen be dead? My MKi9100 keeps losing connection to my iPhone 13 pro, while performing calls. It has the latest fmw,
