About this deal

I point to the en suite. “Shower.” To the closet on the right. “Clothes.” To the mattress. “Bed.” Her gaze follows, and she chews on her lip, nodding. I point to her now. “Stay.” “Woof,” she barks.”

Yasmin Karam (23): Heiress to the Sultan Diamond Company and the only daughter of Ali Karam! She's a people pleaser and never does anything to disappoint her father! But when his mentor falls ill, he finds himself on the verge of losing everything, and he'll stop at nothing to inherit what is rightfully his—even if it means forcing a woman he can't stand into marriage. The sex scenes are yummy yummy! After the tease and longing when they finally were with each other- gosh it was everything! I need a Daddy Julian in my life pretty pls!🤧 From BookTok sensation Emily McIntire comes a dark and delicious fractured fairy tale reimagining of Aladdin.

This Book was too good! It's an Aladdin retelling! It's a mixture of so many tropes 😭 Forced marriage, enemies to lovers, age gap & touch her you die! 🥺 Julian Faraci has one goal: become the most powerful man in the world. He's built a future from broken bones and faded bruises, never caring who he hurt along the way. But when his mentor falls ill, he finds himself on the verge of losing everything, and he'll stop at nothing to inherit what is rightfully his. Even if it means forcing a woman he can't stand into marriage. The only reason I’m giving it 4/5 stars is because I wish the ending was drawn out longer. It felt cut off in a way and didn’t feel as if it got the attention it deserved. As a reader, I felt as if we didn’t get enough time to see how everything played out and I without spoiling, I will say, I wish the final final conflict was hinted at more throughout the book. It just felt rushed. Plus I wanted more from the epilogue. More explanation on how everything worked out and how things were going. Julian is also so so so hot oml!! If I was Yasmin I would’ve went for him straight away lmao. He’s just so well written that I even fell a little bit for him. I love the depth he had to his character. And we obviously adore protective, possessive and intelligent men on this account!!!As always, Emily does a fantastic job of weaving in the original tales in such a creative way and gives us adult topics from our much beloved childhood stories/movies. Feel free to invite some friends to join our Round Table community!http://www.goodreads.com/group/invite_members/26989-goodreads-authors-readers Julian, Julian, Julian. Boy oh boy was he hot. The dirty talk, the charisma, the darkness, and the snake. Everything about that man drew me in as a reader and kept me hooked (see what I did there lol). And Yasmin was beautiful, the love she had to give, and everything about her kept me reading to see what these two would accomplish together. Jeannie found the lamp and didn’t tell anyone. She gives it to Yasmin because she overheard Ian talking about Julian’s plans to kill her. Jeannie tells Yasmin to use the lamp to barter for her freedom.

Using many of the traditional conventions of romance, she turns them on their head, making something quite new and different in the process. From this she has created an entirely singular voice that’s completely unique to her, making her work instantly recognizable her readers. This now trademark style has ensured that readers from around the world return to her work time and again for more. With further books and stories planned for publication in the near future, she’s a writer with a lot more to say as well. That’s all the explanation. A paragraph or so dedicated to making Aidan the “true” villain even though he was a caring boyfriend for their entire relationship. We didn’t even get to see the fallout with his mother, or what happened between him and Ian to get them on the same side. It felt very shoe-horned in to excuse the fact Yasmin cheated on him and made him second in her life while they were together. I love them both separately a lot but together...I was a little Aham about it at first. But by now I see the pattern of Author Emily's characters falling in love rather drastically, so I'm not fully surprised! Julian is the first main character of the series I have felt is truly evil. He wasn’t tortured in the sense of going against morals/having a different moral code. He knew his actions were corrupted, but he didn’t care—his only concern was for HIMSELF and the power he stood to gain. It made his eventual love for Yasmin that much sweeter.A&R is about helping authors promote their books. Yasmin * muh* ( Jasmine's inspired) is the most relatable character to me, I personally relate to her a lot. She can be annoying to many but I love her! I can relate to her people-pleasing nature and her inner monologue! I wish the ending hadn't been so approximate and definitely still needing some answers, but I'll take what I get.

I absolutely loved Julian and Yasmin. They are definitely my favorite couple so far in the Never After Series. The plot wasn’t the best in this book but the romance made up for that. I did like the arranged marriage but I didn’t really like the business plot of this book. I also didn’t like that Yasmin’s father didn’t tell her anything. He thought he was protecting her but really he was just hurting her. I am dealing with a lot of personal issues and my health. So I am alowing down my reading. Anyway, Twisted takes me by surprise. I like the hero because he is super sweet. Julian and Yasmine's story has age gap, mafia romance. But I assured you, the story is minimum on dark aspect.Love J.R. Ward, Nora Roberts, Jeaniene Frost, Karen Marie Moning, Kristen Ashley, Lisa Kleypas and more? Like a great mix of Paranormal Romance, Contemporary Romance, New Adult Romance, Romantic Thrillers, and Erotic Romance/Romantica? If so, then this group is for you. I appreciate, however, that there was no grooming on MMC's part. Taboo doesn't scare me off, but it wouldn't have matched Julian's character at all. Twisted is loosely based on Aladdin and I 100% enjoyed it so much. I have been looking forward to this book since it was announced and could not wait to get my hands on it. And boy oh boy, y’all are gonna wanna meet Julian.
